I’ve scored for 2 minute animation called “Particle” created by Takeshi Kogahara. It’s an experimental film using computer graphics to portray a paper-cutting animation.
There aren’t many differences in the final mix used in the work and the outtake, but their impressions may differ because of the timbres.
改装前から公開していたものの再掲載ですみません。一応ミックスをし直してはいます。でも音源が古いものだったりして最良の音とはいえませんね…。プロジェクターで上映するためのミックスでしたのでエフェクトかけ過ぎかも。
すべて学校の授業で制作した曲です。実際に各映画から抜粋した2分ほどの映像を観ながら書いています。動きを画に合わせることだけではなくて、その映画の時代や舞台設定まで考慮することが課題でした。楽しかった。
「Timeline」の予告編は仰々しい感じだったので曲もコテコテのファンタジー系。「The Last of the Mohicans」では本物のアメリカ原住民の歌を聴きながらそれをハリウッド色に脚色。「Peacemaker」においては旧ソ連の軍歌を参照したりしてつくりました。
動きがあって激しい音楽というのはまだそれほど書いたことはなくて、もっともっと勉強していきたいと思っています。
All these pieces were for my school project, which object was to have music set the time and place of a film. Since I haven’t written music for action nor ethnic movies much, this was a great exercise for me. I had the actual footages to score along with, and that was fun, too.
The mix of these music files are targetting for screening, so they may sound too much of effects.
These are the excerpts of the soundtracks for “Pieces,” a 12-minute short film, and “Roll Cream,” a 16-minute film directed by Takeshi Kogahara. Both films had weight on depicting the characters’ emotions, so I needed to write their music deliberately.
